The Little List of -ologies
Way back when the world looked a little different to a kid on his first day of high school, Biology was assigned as the first ever course on my brand new high school freshman year schedule. That day, the very first assignment given out for homework was to go through the dictionary, find, and write out the definitions to 50 words that ended in -ology or -logy.
At first this kid thought that was an impossible task (this was, of course before there was such a thing as the internet), but after taking out the dictionary, the assignment was suddenly, magically completed in under an hour.
Today, that assignment would be completed in less than three seconds, as noted below:
